Swap the Master of the Forge for Vulkan, and the rhinos for drop pods....and magic...it's Chris Terry's Salamander list......

True...but this list has 4 dreadnoughts.

The Master of the forge goes with the scouts in a fortified ruin so they can get a 2+ cover save.

two dreads with MM advance with the three rhinos, while the firebase of preds, dreds, speeders and scouts shoot to try and pop transports.

I like the amount of firepower in the list and i've never been much for drop pods so I think i wont be using them.

I think it ends up being personal favorites, but you like the hunter-killer as opposed to a combi melta in the squad for the same points?

echoing twaimn here. When I got back into wolves I was planning on playing plenty of HK's, but my combi meltas are only 5 points so...no more HK's.:dude:

Wolves rock.

is this a minotaurs list, or just a vanilla marine list?

given the range of the multimeltas, i actually like the HK option.  someone with lots of las and missiles can just lay back and pound for a couple of turns before you are in range with the melta weapons.
