I've never been a big fan of the WH40K video games but this one looks pretty sweet!

Yeah I have seen numerous videos on this a while back. I will probably pick it up for PS3 when it comes out. I hope they really expand on Dawn of War II. Chaos SM will be added in Feb/March but it would be nice to see IC, more units w/ more weapon choices and hopefully they eventually drop a Apoc add on allowing big games with titans and super heavies! Wet Dreams I know

| This will definitely get me back into playing 40k regularly, because after playing this game for a while, I do not think I'll be able to fight the urge.

I like the idea of it being Gears of Warish, I've always preferred first person shooters myself, I just hope it's done well.
I should probably try some of the dawn of war series, actually not sure why I never have, yet another item to add to the "to do" list. Unlike the painting of nearly an entire army in the span of two months.....less VG's more painting!!!!

My problem with the Dawn of War series centers around my heavy play of Warcraft II and Starcraft and Ground Control and a million other resource-grab games.
Some of the "fatality" moves are entertaining, though. If you play leisurely, and watch the close combat for a bit, you'll see little finishing moves.
But apart from that, it is pretty much Starcraft with a 40k transparency over the top.

That isn't a bad thing!
