Actually, the older an ork gets, the grayer the skin becomes, according to very old fluff.  This phenom also happens because of various mutations according to the originating planets base fungal capabilities.

Nice eyes, I'm gonna loot that for some future projects.;)

I think that might be according to your fluff!  I believe that the older and bigger an ork gets, his skin becomes more and more BLACK.
